There are I believe four major players in the gene-editing business...perhaps not strangely...morality plays a big part in the thinking of scientists who work in this area...the concept of carving out what you don't want (diseases.) etc...has introduced the not entirely...unique idea of creating (splicing in what you may desire to see in your progeny). I wonder what Mary Shelley would think?
