When you look at the last wave in South Africa, the Omicron wave was steep in both directions. Combined with the relatively low death rate (I assume this correlates with the ICU occupancy) I really hope we get a chance to get to treat the minimum number of patients which we need for interim analysis.

Nevertheless, with 23 critical trial sites online and the establishing Omicron wave, there is not much room left for excuses to not enroll at least a few patients/ week.
Currently, 63 people (number is rising) die in Sao Paulo each day, I assume some died at an ICU ...
