I have another theory (as crazy this might sound)
NSF realized that this could become expensive once CYDY files a damage-suit.
So they leave all completely to Ama. as it was before NSF's aquisition.
Once CYDY is awarded 'huge' sums NSF is out (even as a parent-co.) and
Ama. will not be able to pay, leading Ama. into BK.
Consequence : CYDY will never see any money should they sue (and win), the only thing they'll get is the data.
