I'd argue that throughout Covid, the word "mild" has been consistently misused and misinterpreted.
In many cases, "mild" means "you won't die" but the symptoms and experience could still be horrific. I know some people that said it was the worst flu they ever experienced and others have those lingering LH symptoms.
That ain't "mild" in my book. A cold is mild. High fever and vomiting can be brutal. That one word -- "mild" -- has given so much cover to anti-vaxxers and those who seek to downplay the entire pandemic.
