Here’s a poem I wrote for the occasion, -in the winter of our discontent:

The Natives are growing restless it seems
As reality confronts their hopes and their dreams
They aren’t sure, and don’t know what to do
They say “We need someone to give us a sign, a clue”
Dalton’s famous secrecy is driving them nuts
And it’s hard to live on what ifs or buts

Some say stay calm and patient, -it will all work out
While others say no thanks, because I am riddled with doubt
“We’re down and in the red” they say
“And it’s hard to stay positive from day to day”
Unfortunately, that is the big dilemma my friends
As a new year begins and the old year ends

So looking forward, where do we go from here?
Do we wait and hope for another day, month or year?
Alas, the future is something that no one really knows
So for those who are “all in” we’ll just have to be patient, and see where this goes
But remember to enjoy life, because being rich isn’t everything my friends
Wherever this goes and however it ends
