It's absolutely not off topic to say that it is absurd for someone to claim that when a company hires an expert to do highly specialized work, the CEO should then be supervising that expert firm closely to make sure they are doing correctly the very work for which they were hired.
Why would anyone hire an expert firm, if they then could not trust the firm to do the work? Why would a CRO exist, if companies were capable of doing that work themselves?
Then, for the person who makes this utterly frivolous claim to say that HIS exacting job looking at contracts for media professionals is "held to a higher standard" than an 80 million dollar contract for highly specialized professional services that could impact the lives of millions -- how absurd.
It does not help the credibility of this board to delete the rebuttal of false claims about the respective responsibilities of CEOs and a highly-specialized CRO.
