Too bad it's not in pill form. CYDY could apply to sell it as a "dietary supplement" (rules are much less stringent), and then people could take it on their own -- as long as CYDY didn't make the mistake of making any health claims for it.
Star Scientific had a fantastic supplement called Anatabloc. Someone posted a review comment on their website, saying "it cured my arthritis" and the FDA used it as an excuse to take them off the market for making therapeutic claims. That company also had a CEO who allegedly tried to use his friendship with a politician to get it approved for state Medicaid money, resulting in big legal consequences -- but that's another story.
