Before Covid 19, people just "got sick" with either a cold or the flu, and life went on. People stayed home, called in sick, and no politicians tried to gain some advantage from it. Life was good, some people died from it, but most didn't. It was just part of evolution, and taxpayers didn't have to bear the burden of it (except through minimal lost wages and productivity, which was not a big deal.) Politics have rerouted America's attitude toward politicians. Ironic that the politicians who screamed the loudest to "kill the beast!" are the same ones that now have a bad name because of it. There are things that are best left to natural solutions. God figured this out a long time ago. Man has a "better idea". In the long run, we'll see how many lives we "saved". I will remain skeptical until I have more long term information. Happy New Year.
