Compare Nader with HGEN's CEO
Comparable companies. Both were seen as promising covid plays and Humanigen, like Cytodyn, is a single mab company with possible indications beyond covid (though leronlimab has the wider range of indications and the larger market cap).
The public persona of HGEN's CEO Dr Durand is the complete opposite of Nader, he's reserved and measured in his statements. They release professional PRs. Plus they have done a study in partnership with the NIH and trade on the NASDAQ.
And both HGEN and CYDY stock prices have tanked to pre-covid levels.
The market loses its appetite for small biotechs, especially ones with a single drug, that appear to drift along without posting clear and obvious successes, seemingly no matter what the CEO does or doesn't do.
This is happening with another NASH company I was in, HEPA, as well after they posted positive, though not blindingly obviously positive, 2a results. HEPA's CEO is a brilliant doc with former experience running what is now AUPH.
