Diddy, re your talking point that Leron's success against Covid (while the doses still had effect on the body) was predicated on the presence of the cytokine storm.
That is certainly part of Leron's MOA. But don't forget that in CD10 Leron had great success (statistical significance!) in the NEWS2 measurements in moderate cases -- I don't think moderate cases are the result of the cytokine storm. The main problem in that trial was that there were too many mild cases, most of which get better anyway, so Leron was unable to differentiate itself in a small trial.
But that doesn't mean Leron is not effective against moderate cases, as you seem to be saying.
The FDA asked us to concentrate on severe/critical, for good reason: they're the people who are dying. But Leron's ability to occupy the CCR5 receptor should help with the kind of case which will be overwhelming medical systems all over the world. It can stem the flood to hospitals.
I like you hope that Omicron will not be so deadly. (Though I'm not so sure as you.) But unlike you, I think Leron could be a vital drug against Omicron. A jab to the stomach, send em home. Crisis over.
