Seems to be only right for the state of Para (Belem is the capital) where the new cases doubled within the last 30 days. For whole brazil there seems to be a slowdown of new cases for some time now.
But who knows what the numbers really are, there seem to be some reporting issues and Omicron will need a few weeks more for full enrollment.
In brazil 66% are fully vaccinated and 77% got at least one shot. I do not know how much of the CCP vax (Sinovac) was used and how effective this really is.
