The healthcare system is already crushed. People are dying because the hospitals are filled with COVID patients, so people who have heart attacks, strokes, and serious accidents are not able to get the care they should.

Lots of TV news stories with pictures of heart attack patients and accident victims lying on gurneys in the hallways, because they can't be moved into regular rooms -- whole floors are taken up with COVID patients and it's not safe to put them up there exposed to contagion.

So they die, from often-preventable causes.
