hospitalizations for omicron are much lower and average hospital stay is only 2.8 days where Delta is much longer. 2.8 days probably means not an ICU stay but we will see. the data, more and more is supporting comments made by epidemiologists that this strain is more infectious but much milder symptoms like a flu. this has been predicted for some time also that the variances would become more mild over time. we need to learn, or should I say politicians need to learn , that we need to live with this virus. we are not going to wipe it out
