Re: Evil Rabbit #112253
yep. i've seen the movie many times as well. speculation of "something huge" that's driving the call - it's yet to happen. maybe this will be the first.
Honestly, on the heels of a brutal year for longs - +80% decline YTD, and this being the year end call likely - I'd actually like for them to start by addressing that - recognizing what a brutal year it's been for the people who've hung in and not sold - i.e. the real supporters of the company. And frankly, we're the only group that's gotten killed - the shorts and swing traders have had a monster year and are laughing all the way to the bank.
I just want them to address a more specific plan to restore some value to the longs. because news of a new trial, a new indication, a new publication - that's all great - but none of that stuff translates into relief to the shareholders who've gotten pounded. in contrast, that stuff tends to send the SP lower.
Maybe I'm alone here - because this position is my biggest holding - and losing 80% of the value on my biggest holding has changed my financial picture.
But i want to know 2 things: (i) how insulated are we against another year like this year - that sends us back to the 2019 lows? (2) where are we with some sort of partnership or other catalyst that can translate the success of the science into success for the long shareholders.
Just my 2 cents. I'm ready to turn the calendar to 2022 on this one.
