Great question...Doesn't it have to with multiple things, like the 4 different MOAs? It's a mystery how one binding event can produce such disparate effects, like the MOAs.
For instance re-polarizing macrophages, and stopping angiogenesis in cancer versus immune modulating effects such as CD4/CD8 rebalancing in the autimmune environment?
Aren't CCR5 receptors upregulated in the tumor microenvironment? Suggesting to me (novice) that the effect in the tumor microenvironment could be exaggerated compared to other effects in the autoimmune setting.
