It is important to recall that the critical population was a subgroup of the larger CD12 trial, rather than a separate trial. The subgroup analysis (I’m not certain if it was pre-specified. If not, is appropriately characterized as ad hoc/data mining) hit the p value for mortality and blew away p value for length of admission. Criteria for new trial evaluate length of admission/clinical improvement, rather than mortality.
With 4 doses IV and criteria excluding those intubated for more than 72 hours, there should be no issues demonstrating efficacy in critical covid.
As a bonus, trial time by Albert Einstein, not Amarex.
