I would hope Recknor would have a strong enough voice to pound the table and advocate to keep the larger patient population but I have no idea how the dynamics of the brain trust work.

Maybe with the 4 IV doses it will still work out but cutting down the patient numbers will add risk, with even a little more added if a p-value penalty is imposed for the interim look.
