Just a reminder -- "mild" COVID symptoms are what most people would call "horrendous" symptoms if it were influenza; and "moderate" symptoms mean that you are really, really miserably sick.

If we are lucky enough that Omicron is a less lethal version of the virus, it's still going to be bad enough to kill a lot of people -- and turn some of the survivors into long-haulers. I sure hope that the Leronlimab long-hauler trial is successful, or we are going to have a country (and world) filled with people with long-term disabilities who are unable to work.
