Causation or correlation? Viagra users seem to have a lower incidence of Alzheimers.

But -- is it because 1) men who have an interest in using Viagra are healthier than men who no longer care? Or is it that 2) Viagra, which works by increasing blood flow, helps the brain by increasing blood flow there, um, too? Or, as they postulate, 3) does Viagra somehow prevent tau tangles?
I kind of favor possibility #1.
