It all depends on what the mortality rate is. If its half as deadly, there will be massive amounts of critical patients due to the large jump in the rate of spread.

However if the mortality is dramatically lower, it could change everything. Too early to tell, but every day that goes by that we dont see a spike in hospitalization in South Africa gives more reason to be optimistic.
