Agreed. Re-infection and vaccine efficacy reduction are important, but their importance (IMO) pales in comparison to the importance of how virulent this strain is.
If its announced that there is a 50% reduction in efficacy, and a 50% re-infection rate the world will panic. Unless there is also an 80% drop in lethality, then we will celebrate.
Its all relative. I am entirely focused on the lethality figures.
