I can only answer as per my kids.
They typically have their phones, also, while viewing traditional TV.
The TV and phone aren't on the same program. I guess that would be rather redundant.
Try to disturb the current iPhone game by ordering a pie from In the Kitchen with David, and see how far you get. You've never seen friction.
