Good morning,
I can respond to some of your questions.
I have worked in healthcare for over 25years. Getting the vaccine does not prevent you from getting the virus. The organization I work for has mandated the vaccine to all employees unless you receive an exemption.
The vaccine also does not prevent transmission once vaccinated. I actually have personal experience in this. I had the vaccine earlier this year Jan/Feb and caught Covid early last month.
While I feel the vaccine may have lessened my symptoms I was still contagious. My employer actually took me off work for 10 days.
I still have no sense of smell or taste and it’s been about a month now.
My wife is in the same boat. She actually had Covid last year in November, got the vaccine in May of this year and caught Covid last month as well.
I feel there is a lot of false publications stating if you get vaccinated you won’t bring the disease home to other family members. That is totally false and are now pushing the vaccine to children.
While I believe in vaccines, I like to see the data. I find it disturbing that data from the vaccines is not readily available to the general population. Let’s see the true statistics to make an educated decision.
Once Leronlimab is available, I will not get a booster for Covid.
