Re: KenChowder #111336
the FDA is run by spoiled children...their reaction to all the pressure was to smack down cytodyn with their brash letter when they could have easily ignored the noise that comes with the job... major blow to cytodyn worth y of a lwasuit, as noted that they have not identified who wrote it, as if they were so entitled to write it in the first place. also the fact that they, a public entity, are hiding behind red tape to keep the identity of the people responsible hidden from the public, is an actual outrage.
top it off with the fact that amarex outright blatantly sabotaged the trials, and no one at the FDA says "wait this drug might help some people" , speaks volumes of our institutions.
what happened to "may be beneficial , and do no harm" to give access to a drug, during an emergency no less?. we have all been so beat down by BS that we arent angry enough anymore, so Lalezari decided to kick it back in gear.
good.

Evil wrote, "[The FDA reaction] wasn't just [caused by] that one letter at all. It was a combo on many fronts, including Dr. Bream's amateur videos from his closet, and shareholders labeling Woodcock a murderer on Twitter."
As the expression goes in my Swamp Yankee hometown: -- Believe that and I'll tell you another.
The FDA wasn't "irritated" by the criticism; they were basically caught with their pants down, having botched a trial for us, and perhaps intentionally so. They went on the rampage, overstating and indeed lying in their attack letter, trying to bury us.
To me the proof lies in the fact that it was unsigned, and no one has since been credited for it. If the FDA believed in that letter, they wouldn't screen its author from public view.
