If 2 companies are involved in a business merger they are trying to keep quiet is it an official quiet period for the employees and CEOs? Yes it is.
Did anyone today on IHANG say that this was an SEC mandated quiet period? No they didn't.
But it could be. No one knows what the quiet is about until news.
