6% up on the day - i'll take it.
one thing is clear. we won't know if we've hit the bottom of not, until after the fact. I had been expecting the SP to hit $1, as it seemed like a psychological barrier we needed to purge. but maybe it won't get there - and maybe we've put the low in.
I will say that for our SP to rise, we don't necessarily need some incredible news - we just need the bad news to stop, and the balance of news to be positive - that's the way it works with all stocks. i would bet we're at / past that point now.
in other words, we've absorbed the FDA letter, the 13D debacle, the full picture on the challenges with the BLA for HIV, and Brazil going much slower than expected. That's a ton of bad news for the stock to absorb. However, at this point i think maybe the vast majority of negative news has been flushed out. if so, maybe we've put in the low after all.
regardless, i'm drinking to that theme - and if we go lower from here, i'll drink to that also (just not as happily).
