Let's flip it around for a second look. WHAT IF NP hadn't made so many promises as to success and hadn't missed so many timelines. WHAT IF NP had managed our expectations a bit better, under-promised in hopes of over-delivering, and was a bit more realistic and less emotional about things. Would we still feel that the world was against CYDY? I think maybe not as much.
NP conditioned us to think "This time!" "This time!" and "this time" has not materialized in 2 years now. Suddenly, we want to say it is the fault of every 3rd party in the world, mostly because our expectations were too high ALL the time. If our expectations were tempered just a bit, I think we'd feel a bit different about things.
