I'm not sure I get this fascination with the pps at .05, .10, .15 or .43. When the IPO drops and if the market is efficient, we will trade on a market cap basis of X, which will be the portion of NGIO's total market cap that GNBT continues to own. With 120 m GNBT shares outstanding, our pps should translate to X/120 million, regardless if the starting point is .05 or .50. And that values all the other pieces of GNBT at 0.
The mid-term pps of GNBT is not be some predetermined multiple of the price the stock is trading at on the day of the IPO, or even IND news. Even if IND news hits first, it won't trade based on a multiple of pps - it will trade based on what the market determines is a fair market cap for the news. If that is $10 million or $100 million, that's where the pps will go.
I can understand the concern IF you are trading the stock at this level, but except for a very few (thank goodness) here, nobody is. In fact, many here have specifically mentioned they have satisfied their addiction and bought more. So what's the big deal right now with hourly/daily pps updates?
I think we can all read the numbers; posting dissatisfaction with a new annual low vs elation at being up .005 is just more noise and feeds the anxiety.
Now taking off my "dad pants" and ending the scold.
