Amarex was supposedly a world class CRO. If I go to Cedars Sinai and get rhinoplasty, I’m not bringing in a private nose job expert to look over the surgeon’s shoulder. So if I come out of the hospital with an effed-up beak, I’d sue Cedars and the surgeon, not blame myself for trusting a “world class” facility.

The whole point of the CRO is to do tasks the company can’t or doesn’t know how to do. That shouldn’t require hiring two parties, one to oversee the other.

To be fair, I do agree we should have caught the problem sooner and not allowed this for so long. But if there were shenanigans that could have been tough. Obviously Mahboob was a disaster. It’s easy to quarterback with hindsight but just grateful Recknor showed up.
