What went through my head in the last few days regarding the low number of patients in our trials in Brazil: is everyone allowed to participate? Does anyone know how access to hospital is regulated in Brazil? Can everyone go to any clinic, or does that depend on other factors such as insurance, money? Specifically: can poor people easily go to one of "our" trial clinics?
