Think that only works or needs to be done if you're on margin... not for cash accounts whereby your shares cannot be loaned out.

Informational: I have four cash accounts with TD Ameritrade ... just contacted them to find out if my shares were voted on the 27th when I supported all company recommendations on the proxy. I was told they were likely voted in but it didn't sound confident and I have no proof/written confirmation the shares were indeed voted... they told me to call the company and inquire.... pretty lame.
