Re: craigakess #109112
Personally, I came to this board after seeing re-posts of several insightful quotes others made here. With all the vitriol and FUD flying on a few other boards, it becomes nearly intolerable. This board is primarily made up of cydy investors who believe wholeheartedly in the science, and to varying degrees, support the ongoing efforts of management to get this molecule to market. We are not sycophants, we are not pumpers. We recognize the learning curves our CEO has dealt with (to varying degrees of success), but what we object to, what we push back on is the relentless negativity, the need of some to tear down, rip apart our belief in and support of our company.
"Facts are stubborn things," (John Adams #2 Pres,), but IMHO, when misapplied or brandished as weapons, they do not elucidate, they cannot be as persuasive as destructive, facts need context, ALWAYS.
Facts are facts, like them or not, and while some here like preaching to the choir and ignoring the tornado warnings, that doesn't make for open discussions or smart investing.
Most of us want to learn from those that have knowledge we do not possess, but we do not want to be lectured to, most of us want to share our own thoughts and experiences, hear and share those of fellow investors, but we do not want to be deluged with the rantings and ravings of the disaffected and disenchanted.
