Why are CYDY's enemies calling for a reverse split? Because when a company does a reverse split and gets its share price above 4 or 5, it enables small traders to short the stock. Some brokerages won't let individual traders short stocks that are trading under 2.00

I have seen it many times -- reverse splits allow the stock price to get pounded down back to where it was before the reverse split, by making it easier for shorts to destroy it.
