Not true, facts are meaningless if they are not relevant to a situation. For example for the first time, astronomers have captured solid evidence of a star swallowing a black hole. The facts behind CYDY bare no relevance and are meaningless to this cannibal star.
Looking at “both sides” could be specious argument in this case because there may not be two sides and because these “facts” may have no relevance to future outcomes and viewing life said it were some kind of court case having winners and losers could be counter productive.
