I don’t understand this complaint. If/when the options are exercised, they will bring in cash equal to what they would have brought if they were sold to investors this week — maybe even more since there aren’t any warrants attached to them. And they cost us nothing if the share price doesn’t go up from here. Obviously, they’re better for us than a cash bonus or an award of shares. In my opinion, this is how NP & co should have been paid from the beginning. As they say, it aligns the interests of management with those of shareholders.
