Just curious-sorta dumb guestion-does the country in which we will be harvesting this timber receive anything for their timber? I would think someone would-don't think that country,or more probable the hydro-electric company who owns the reservoir, would simply give this valuable timber away. A good public relations campaign in the host country may ease the pain somewhat for the damage these dams cause. At least something good,harvesting normally wasted trees for one thing.Also eliminating the harmful gas emissions caused by these flooded trees.
