As an aspiring writer, a story based on IPIX history and future would be quite a whopper IMO.
Has all the elements; heroes, evil forces trying to stop commercialization, international intrigue (Russia connection), world at risk (Covid), medicine changing wonder drug, financial survival by its finger tips, unseen last ditch event to save the company (Covid), government collusion against it (whether real or fictionalized), etc, etc.
With the proper enhancing, interjection of action sequences, etc could be an exciting read
