One specific question though… what does “and Brazil” mean? Are we really blaming NP for slow progress in Brazil? Should he be clubbing sick Brazilians over the head and dragging them to trial sites?
What I can remember, Nader/ Kelly dropped the ball with CD12. We had very slow enrollment until they decided in Oct- Nov(?) to hire someone who went from trial site to trial site and somehow magically pushed the enrollment significantly in a very short timeframe. Why did they wait several months before they hired this guy?
Do we have the same experience now with brazil? I assume yes.
As of today we have 1016 new COVID cases per day (7day average) and 81 deaths/ day (7day average) alone in Sao Paulo! For whole brazil,10683 new cases/day and 390deaths/day.
With 25 trial site there is no lack of patients for the moderate trial. How can he explain the slow enrollment? Is he waiting again for a miracle, or is he taking action?
I am not sure if Nader realizes that you cannot manage such an important trial from distance (on top in a different country) with two online meetings per week. You need to be there and get in touch/ involved with the responsible people. It will be very difficult to figure out what's going on from distance!
You have to trust and believe them 100% what they tell you if you do not have one of your own guys there.
