that's probably right.

as a long-term long, i'm personally tapped out - having bought the dips many times. other longs can likely sympathize. shorts have made a fortune this year, and looking at the stock plumbing multi-year lows, they're probably sitting it out right now.

so the true believers are fully invested (and a bit weary), and the shorts are probably counting their money and looking for a higher entry point to short again - leading to a bit of a dead zone here.

and lastly, it would appear that the next real catalyst is months away - enough time to blink, so that is probably a contributor to the low volume.
