You missed the point, Marc, and are just talking semantics there. The point of the quote is that one can be blinded by a side (such as Red Sox vs. Astros) when betting, but if looking at the OPPORTUNITY, there is not the chance for such blindness to cause a loss. It creates more of the ability to have an open mind.
