Hy, I can't say for sure but I suspect the cost to bankrupt GNBT (or other small startups) is less than purchasing the company and then shelving the research.
Just a guess, however. Others might have a better explanation, including that my entire hypothesis that pharma is the major reason why GNBT has been treated like the proverbial red headed step child is wrong. If GNBT does come out with exceptional news, and the price doesn't go up but the volume does, that supports the argument that there is an entity out there trying to financially disable GNBT (NGIO). Pharma seems to me to be the only logical culprit, since a GNBT (NGIO) vaccine would be a direct threat.
