Not sure if they only reinstituted it for cancer, but I think (per the emerging growth cast) they did start right to try again. It was just in the context of cancer patients so not sure about covid. Only way to know for sure is to email the company (Dr Scott Kelly handles this nowadays) and see. Keep in mind you also would have to convince your grandmothers Dr of this. Many stories posted on here of drs who aren't interested in using about some new drug they've never heard of on patients.
