If they were inferring buying would increase voting power the votes were locked in to who owned the shares on September 1st.
If they think an increased share price then would benefit the 13d, nope that would still accrue to Nader's benefit.
The 13d and their supporters don't seem to have a good grasp of strategy or planning.
