Fee to borrow shares spiked to 50% (!) this morning before pulling back a little to 39% after 60k were returned.
my question:
Varible rate or fixed rate loan?
If a short borrowed say a month ago, when the borrow rate was say 15%, and today the rate is 39%, does this short investor continue at 15%, or does he have to pay the new rate each time it changes?
In other words, are all shorts now paying the current rate of 39%?
