It was either a misprint - which is a very common occurrence - or somebody got screwed on a market order. I wasn't watching the tape at the time, but I'd assume it was a misprint because if it weren't it would've triggered the stop-losses of all the amateurs who are foolish enough to set their stop-losses directly on a whole number.
If only one print went through at $2 then it was just a bad print. If more than one print went through then the market makers screwed somebody on a market order.
On ThinkOrSwim if you right-click the candle in question, then click "Correct this bar" and put in the proper value, it will correct it. That way it doesn't mess up your chart. When I saw it this afternoon I corrected the $2.00 low on that candle to $2.18.
