Like Whatnot, Ntwrk is also an app-based marketplace which focuses on specific consumer segment (in this case gen-z and millennials). It will be interesting to see how Verb will position Marketplace, will it be closer to these consumer focused apps, or will it be more like a private shoppable live streaming platform where retailers, brands, etc. do live streams mainly for their existing customers and leads.
Based on what Rory has said in interviews and earnings calls, they will be doing both, but as we can see from these large raises, it's not cheap to acquire completely new viewers to these platforms. Hopefully we'll get a little glimpse of Marketplace in VerbLIT, and maybe get some metrics from the beta testing.
