@mtruong, that would be great, but I'm a bit skeptical (as an EU citizen, German). I fear that every EU country will try to include local companies. For example, after an open call for proposals, Germany has now announced who it wants to support:
"Up to 150 million euros for the most promising projects
A 20-person expert commission headed by the President of the Paul Ehrlich Institute, Professor Dr. Klaus Cichotek, have checked the submitted proposals and selected the most promising of them. "We plan to support the projects of the coordinating companies AdrenoMed AG, Apogenix AG, Atriva Therapeutics GmbH, CORAT Therapeutics GmbH, InflaRX GmbH and the DRK Baden-Württemberg-Hessen gGmbH with a total of up to 150 million euros," announced Karliczek (German Research Minister).
I guess the other countries will do the same, unless the results of a foreign manufacturer are so convincing that they cannot be ignored (hopefully LL will do in Brazil).
WUM
