It very precisely was Trump who, in his own words, decided to 'downplay it so as not to panic us'.
It will go away by Easter, when it gets warm, by election day because Dem hoax. Maybe a little disinfectant ingestion/injection or some light will help .....WTF?!
He politicized/skepticized/conspiracy theorized the pandemic response and thereby undermined it.
He disparaged mitigation measures, masking and social distancing.
We saw super spreader rallies deep into the pandemic.
If a Dem president did exactly the same you'd be all over him, WITH justification.
