I believe the dissolution of the investor group is simply part of the terms of settlement, to allow their nominees on the vote. There appears to be no need for a nominating committee anymore, after dismissal of lawsuits and agreement to allow a vote for directors.

Perhaps they want the nominees to be able to make a stand for themselves without the backing of a group? Idk, just a guess.

That is my limited understanding, but anyone with actual information, beyond my interpretation, please share.
