It's possible Pasaca might feel it had to deal with Innova's internal issues that kept it from gaining FDA approval before it committed to buying a company, QMC, whose revenue would depend in part on Innova's success.

The two companies could still do business together. Innova still needs clinical test software, QD for next gen tests and anticounterfeiting.
